The below SFDX command
Command: SFDX: Retrieve Source from Org
gives the below error
ERROR:- Cannot read property 'split' of undefined
Its been happpenning since few days. I generated package.xml again and then tried...still getting the same error.

If the problem persist, for me I installed v57.15.0 and don't work. I need to downgrade to v57.14.1 in VS Code and work! Try it to downgrade extensions: APEX and
Apex Interactive Debugger.
