"You don't have the level of access required to complete this action" in FSC

Hi

We have a FSC enabled org.

A group of users are getting the following error message when creating a Financial Account record.
"You don't have the level of access required to complete this action"

I have narrowed the behaviours a little:
They can edit an existing Fin Account record as long as they don't adjust the Balance and Payment frequency field.
They cannot create a record from scratch, even if they leave the above field blank.
There is a Rollup Summary that runs based on those fields.
I have reviewed all fields that are listed in the Rollup Summary as well as all other fields in the Financial Account object and the Account object which is the target for the rollups.
I checked all sharing rules related to Account, Contact and Financial Account.
I have created a Permission set with the "Modify All Data" setting enabled and assigned to a user.
The error remains.

The System Admin profile is able to edit and / or create records of this type.

Next I will disable the Rollup Summaries to definitely see if they are part of the underlying cause.

Any ideas and tips would be appreciated.

Regards
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

This is very interesting case.

I think this issue can either be the Rollup Summary or/and the Field-Level Security.

The fact that you enabled "Modify All Data" and the issue is still not resolved may steam from the fact that "Modify All Data" doesn't override Field-Level Security, no matter what you do. What if the issue is caused by a field that these users do not have access to via Field-Level Security?

Hi All

Found the issue to be access to the field that was the destination for the one of the Rollups.

@Ines - Financial Accounts are part to the Financial Service Cloud (FSC) package from SF.

@Seyran - thanks for the reminder about "modify all data" not impacting FLS - for that reminder, you get the points.

cheers all
