    Hi Darrah,

Campaign Members allow you to associate contacts and leads to various campaigns in Salesforce. Campaigns are often used by Marketing Teams to track various marketing engagements, such as if your company is going to a trade show, and you want to track everyone who signed up at that trade show, or if your company is planning an email engagement, and you want to track all the recipients. Campaigns are a great way to track and manage each customer you're reaching out to as part of that campaign.

One of the unique features of Campaigns is that you can assign both leads and contacts as Campaign Members. The Campaign Member object is a junction object, meaning that is has a parent Campaign, but then it has a Parent Lead or Contact. This allows great flexibility so that you can assign multiple leads and comtacts to multiple campaigns.

    Thanks,

    Mikey
