Is there a way to have permanent delegate approver, with the approver as primary and delegate approver as secondary, without changing the assigned to field manually by approver. Both should have access to the single approval record ?

Hi Kavya,
There is no native functionality in Advanced Approvals that will grant two users the ability to approve one Approval record. Setting a delegate approver should send all net-new approval requests to the delegate. You can review the criteria that must be met in order for a user to be able to approve/re-assign an Approval record:

yes, the primary or secondary approver can be hardcorded with a specific user name and both will have access to it as well.
