In Einstein when creating a dataset, how do I add custom fields I have created from a Salesforce object?

I found the stand reports in Salesforce a little lacking for what I wanted to do and thought I would try it out in Einstein.  I can add in the Opportunity and Account objects to a dataset, but I can see any of the HEDA fields, or my own custom fields that were added to these objects.  Is this something that can be done?

I figured it out.  It was a permissions issue on the fields.  I needed to give "Analytics Cloud Integration User" and "Analytics Cloud Security User" access to these fields.

Hi Ben,

Help ensure if the Einstein Analytics Integration user has access to the custom fields you want to be part of dataset. That might fix the issue.

Regards,
Manoj.

Thanks Ben for the response. Good to know that , access to Integration user of Einstein Analytics worked for you.

Also make sure that the user, in this case Ben Cooper, also has access to the fields.
