I have learned that the security token is specific to a particular user.  And our previous SF admin did not do it correctly. He had used his account for all integrations.

If I reset the security token now, will the existing integrations break? If so, how to find a list of all existing integrations and update the security token?

What is the best practice to avoid issues like this in the future?

Create an API Integrator user and then login as that user, reset the security token, find all the integrations, and update the security token?

Appreciate your help and thanks in advance.

Thanks very much for the response and for sharing the article. I am afraid if this will break any active running integrations. How will I know the list of integration of our org has and how shall I update existing integration with this new user?
