Validation Rule

Hello,
I'm trying to write a validation rule that when a project (Custom Object) goes into 7-Closeout (Picklist) you should have already checked the “Confirm Expense” (Checkbox) on the project, to move forward.  If the checkbox is False then fire the Validation Rule

This is the current Validation Rule that is not working.

AND(
Confirm_Expenses__c  = FALSE,
ISPICKVAL(MPM4_BASE__Status__c  =     7 - Closeout,"")

Error -
Error: Syntax error. Missing ')'
  • API Name - Confirm_Expenses__c
  • Checkbox

  • API Name - MPM4_BASE__Status__c
  • Picklist
  • API for Status Name  "7 - Closeout"

Can you try the following:
AND(Confirm_Expenses__c  = FALSE,
         ISPICKVAL(MPM4_BASE__Status__c,  "7 - Closeout")
       )
