and if you try this in formula field with return type text.

I have tried this Detail Link. However it will display the whole URL rather than field value as hyperlink.
The other way of using Link Option, i believe we have to hard code the URL of sandbox/org which is not prefered. it should be dynamic and pick the base Domain URL automatically

ok.

anyway if you want to try ink option.
you dont  have to hardcode.
you can use   $Api.Partner_Server_URL_260  and create a formula field   to get current org base url.

Problem accessing /services/Soap/c/26.0/*
ONLY POST ALOOWED.
