I've tried using my email address and password. and i've tired email address with password and security tokin.

Have lodged a ticket with Salesforce support, but am awaiting an answer

I am having the same issue and have tried everything but still can't get it to work.

Hi Jennifer. After much chasing Salesforce have responded to say that they will release a patch next week that will solve the problem with excel. No exact date but at least it is coming. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
