Is there a possibility to mark always the first registered contact role on Opportunities as "Primary"?

You may need to use Trigger or Process builder in that case! Not possible with standard configuration.

Hi,

This is a little tricky. Why? Because Opportunity Contact Role is not a first class object. So we can't trigger any automation when a Opportunity Contact Role is created.

Though you can have automation created on Opportunity, but then you will have to make changes to Opportunity record in order for process to trigger.
You will need a combination of a process and a flow to implement the logic.

Let me know your thoughts.

One more thing, if you could share the details of your process we might be able to come up with some better solution.

Hi Lalit, at this moment there is no solution for this. I had also contact with Salesforce support and they can't help me on this issue. Kr, Bram
