I think you're right, the second component seems to be the one bugging out but if I remove it, I can't validate the challenge.

Hello karthikraja,

Hey everyone! Whenever I switch the component to a vertical graph bar I get the error message:

"The 'Case Drivers and SolarBot Ownership' component doesn't display case counts as a percentage of whole or doesn't arrange data as required."

And I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong at all, what do y'all think? Any tips?

However, it still fails with error The 'Temperature and Kilowatt Hour Relationship' component doesn't display data in the correct format or doesn't sort to show the temperature increasing.

Like Eric Huebner, I get the same error :
The 'Case Drivers and SolarBot Ownership' component doesn't display case counts as a percentage of whole or doesn't arrange data as required.

Anyone faced the same issue ?

@Eric : did you figure out what's wrong ? Maybe a silly setting in the source report (although we passed previous steps) could explain that ?
I have changed a lot of parameters (legend to right / bottom, sorting by Label / Value ascending / descending) and changed browser, refreshed dashboard after each change but something is wrong :-(

Hi Saily,

I clear this error by recreate with following step.

  - Add Case Drivers and SolarBot Ownership Component
Use Top Case Drivers by SolarBot Ownership Report
Title name as Case Drivers and SolarBot Ownership
Use Stacked Vertical Bar, X-Axis (SolarBot Ownership) and Y-Axis (Record Count)
Stack to 100%, save done and refresh.

For last one, thanks KUMARA for column order and sorting.
  - Add Opportunity Overview Component
    Use SolarBot Loyalty Revenue Report
    Title name as Opportunity Overview
Add Column in order to Stage, Amount, Opportunity Name, Owner, Probability, Expected Revenue
Sort by Stage Ascending and Highlight to Amount with two Ranges

Really struggled with this one, flew through this Badge until i hit this challenge.

Like many i was bought here by an error code after taking Graeme's advice above and working through each step carefully i finally got past this step.

Sometimes if you are working with a component and keep getting different errors just delete the component and start it again from scratch.

Hi Miller, I got same error as you.

I recreated my dashboard by check the challenge step by step. I found the error is happend on my first component. When i add the first component based on the "SolarBot Loyalty Revenue" report and just give the correct title with the default horizontal bar chart, the error message of check result is nomal error, but when i just change the chart to vertical bar chart, and do nothing else, then check challenge, the error message changed from nomal to the exception error above.
I am struggling with this error. Cannot understand why just change a chart type can make the test programme down.

Hope anyone can help us.  And if you find any solution, please kindly let me know.

Hi @Yaryna,

ensure that this component is 6 x 4 (wide x high). Here are the steps you have to follow:

1) Choose Report: "SolarBot Loyalty Revenue"
2) Display as "Vertical Bar Chart"
3) X-Axis: Stage; Y-Axis: Sum of expected revenue && adjusted expected revenue
4) Display units in thounds
5) Sort by Stage: ascending
6) Title: Solar Bot Pipeline by Stage

Here as well I provided you the screenshot:

Solar Bot Pipeline by Stage

@all: Have you received an answer from salesforce support team for the second component "Case Drivers and SolarBot Ownership" in Challenge 7?. I followed all the instructions above and nothing worked for me. I get this error:

"Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: WIIVAKPN"

It is not because of pre-existing configuration. I deleted the dashboard and verified the challange for the first component and it works. The problem is always the second component "Case Drivers and Solar Bot Ownership. I guess the root cause is, that after saving and refreshing no data displays in the component. You can see this in those screenshots.

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
We can’t find the 'SolarBot Dashboards' folder with the correct access settings.

For access settings, it can be easy to forget that Dashboard folders are separate from Report Folders and so this may lead you down the wrong path to discover that while the sharing settings are not under "Report Folders" they are under "Dashboard Folders" same but different, hope this screenshot helps those that may miss this and start messing with the wrong assess settings as I almost did.

Hi everyone,

Is there a solution for this error:

Error
Thank you very much !

Luke GreenstreetLuke Greenstreet
Hi Bilel,

My first recommendation would be to double, triple and quadruple check your dashboard settings on the folder. If they exactly match the criteria. If you are still getting this error it is possible that there is something else wrong with the dashboard, unfortunately the error messaging on this challenge is misleading.

The way I passed this challenge in the end was to start from scratch and after every step i would press the check challenge button. If it stated that the step I had not yet completed was missing then I knew I had exactly met the criteria required and could move on.

I know it seems like a lot of effort to start the whole challenge over again but I found it saved me time in the long run rather than driving myself insane trying to meet criteria that I already knew was already met.

I hope this helps, Good Luck!

Hi dear all, the major cause of this issue is due to the naming.

To do, go to all folders and click the dropdown picklist at the extrem rigth of your dashboard folder, then click Rename
Please rename your Dashbord Folder by copying and pasting this name SolarBot Dashboards, the same given in the Sperbage steps.

After that follow these steps of Heena Chishty, given above to set up access rigths:

Hi All
The Right Way To Fix This Problem
You have to go to share in dashboard folder

  1. Next Step1:- Go to share with a select public group
  2. Next  Step1:-Names Report and Dashboard Administrators
  3. Next Step1:- Access Manage
  4. and Share
  5. Next Step2:- Go to share with a select public group
  6. Next  Step2:-Names All Internal Users
  7. Next Step2:- Access view
  8. and Share

Do the same with the Dashboard you created in that folder:
Rename it to SolarBot Impact Dashboard,  the correct given name.

To do, find the dashbord your created in the SolarBot Dashboards then select edit in the dropdown picklist, then copy and past, SolarBot Impact Dashboard, by clicking the name in the top-left corner. Then Save.

Hope it works...

Regards !

@Lavanya's post here helped the challenge to pass.  If you save the challenge for later, make sure you do not duplicate the components!

The weirdest bug ever! Thanks to @Mamadou Lamine CAMARA, but just renaming the folder with exactly the same title "SolarBot Dashboards", and renaming the dashboard with the same title "SolarBot Impact Dashboard" works. How could it be? Ridiculous. Anyway, thank you again, that saved me from frustration.
