I have found here (http://help.marketingcloud.com/en/documentation/exacttarget/tracking/tracking/) that Marketing Cloud stores tracking data for the duration of my contract, but it doesn't state for how long it keeps tracking after the send.

 

If there's an open/click 2 years after I've send an email, will it be recorded? Is it indefinite or is there a limit?

    Hi Naveen, thanks for answering!

     

    Yes indeed, it stores the tracking data indefinitely, in that it doesn't delete, but there's no word on how long Marketing Cloud continues tracking metrics after I've sent an email. Or maybe I understood it wrong?

    Lifespan of Tracking Data:

     

    The Salesforce Marketing Cloud stores your tracking data for the life of your contract. Currently, you can access tracking data from the beginning of your contract.
