Dear fellow Salesforce Users,

I set up custom lead status in Salesforce to be able to divide lead progress into funnel steps which are then easy to track (i.e decision maker reached, pitched, commitment, lost). Now I would like to search for leads based on these customized status so I can follow up with them accoridign to where they are in the sales flow. I can't find a way to do this propperly. Any of you guru's out there that has a clue?

Thanks a lot

I'd recommend setting up a View.

Click on the Leads tab and click on the "Create New View" link near the top of the page (NB - if you are in Lightning, click on the cog symbol that's next to the words "Recently Viewed", then click "New").

From here, it should be fairly easy for you to see how these work.  But it is different depending on if you're in Classic or Lightning (Classic = tabs along the top of the page; Lightning = tabs run down the left of the page)

    Classic:

All the things you need appear on the one screen.  So give your new View a name and set the filter.  You don't need to use all the boxes!  But in your case, the top line should be "Lead Status" "Equals" [Whichever value you want]

    Lightning:

It's a 2-step process.  First, give the view a name.  Then add your filter(s) using the options in the right-hand section of the page.  You might also want to try the Chart link (look for the button that looks like a pie chart).
