Expand Lightning Related List - Single

I need to display five fields in the Lightning Related List- Single , or display the five fields when hovering the related list record name (lookup). Example: when viewing the lightning Account page , I need to view five Contact fields on the Contact "related list - single" component , or view the designated five fields when hovering over the Contact name. Basically ; I just need to expand the number of fields displayed related list - single component.

Unfortunately, Lightning related lists are still currently limited to 4 columns. Here's the Idea to allow more columns: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A000000lEFbQAM

The good news is that this functionality *should* be coming in Summer '19 (according to the latest comment from Salesforce).

The fields that are displayed on the related record hover are controlled by the object's compact layout. So if you go to Setup -> Object Manager -> Contacts -> Compact Layouts, you should be able to modify the system default layout to include your fields. More bad news here though: unless one of your 5 fields is the Contact's Name, this solution won't work either. You will only be able to display 4 fields on hover (even though you can add more fields to the compact layout). Here's an Idea you can vote on to allow more fields here: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000cETvAAM

So, with all of that said, your best bet for now (that doesn't include code) might be a combination of the 2 options above. Display the 4 fields in the related list and then update your compact layout to display the rest. Hopefully, Salesforce pulls through and you'll get some more real estate on your related list in June.

Thank you Thomas. The compact layout hover isn't working. It just displays the record name (custom object).
I created a formual field that concatenates two fields , which works.  Hopefully Summer 19 will resolve my issue.

For Related Lists component update is already done to show up to 10 fields but for Related List - Single component is limitation still up to 4 fields only

To echo Jan's comment, the linked idea isn't actually relevant to this question. The enhancement has been completed on the linked idea and this issue still exists. The problem isn't with related lists and isn't solved with enhanced related list, the problem is with the "Related List - Single" lightning component. Even if you set the "related list type" to "Enhanced List", it still only displays 4 columns.
