Email updated in Sales Cloud, but not carried over to all subscribers

I have a situation where subscriber X has an original email, and they get sent an email out of Marketing Cloud at that address.

But down the line, the email address needs to be updated and is done so in Sales Cloud, and then transferred to Marketing Cloud via synchronized DEs.

When pulling a data extension of subscribers, if that subscriber is on the list, the updated email address will appear, but they will still be sent the email at their original address because the All Subscribers list has their Subscriber Key associated with the original address, not the updated one (this is due to the fact that our Subscriber Key relates to Contact ID).

According to SFMC support, the only way we can update this is to manually download a list of subscribers from the Sales Cloud and import it back into the All Subscribers list to update the emails.

Has anyone run into this? Are there any scripts that can be run to automatically do this rather than manually updating every so often?
