Cases created via Salesforce for Outlook not working automatically with Case Assingment Rules.

I have a central Queue to which cases can be created and sent via Salesforce for Outlook.  However, once in the queue, I need the cases to automatically be reassigned based upon the case assignment rules.  Presently, they go into the Queue and stay there until we select Edit and then Save.  Then the rules fire appropriately.

Is there a way to make this automatically happen without having to Edit/Save?
