Hi!

So I am trying to build a process where if one of our cases enters a working status like 'In Progress' on Weds and is worked for 2 hours before it enters a non-working process. If on Thurs, they put this same case back to a working status for an hour before stopping it, I need a field to show the total number of hours worked is 3hrs. It needs to keep count each time it goes in and out of these status.

I built the start/stop time/date fields and 2 workflows to update those fields:

Best practice on tracking a case working status that keeps going in and out of statuses

Case is in a working status. The start working field is immediately updated when this criteria is met.

Case is NOT in a working status. The stop working field is immediately updated and the start field is blanked out when this criteria is met.

Need help creating the formula field that will calculate the cumalative total hours this case has been in a working status.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
