Where can you find emails sent through salesforce engage?

Once you have sent an email from salesforce using salesforce engage, how can you find it? Is there a way for it to appear in the sent box in Outlook or is there a section in salesforce where you can find it?

- In Lightning Experience, using Send Engage Email on an account or related list of contacts on an account adds all contacts associated with the account as recipients.
- In Classic, using Send Engage Email on a related list of contacts on an account lets you select which contacts to add as recipients.
- In Lightning Experience, clicking view more and then clicking Send Engage Email on an account or related list of contacts lets you select which contacts to add as recipients.
- Using Send Engage Email from an accounts list view adds all contacts associated to all select accounts as recipients.
Person accounts are supported.

Hi Ines, Thanks for your response. This doesn’t show where the ‘sent’ email lives. How can I see who I’ve sent this email to (e.g. in Outlook I would go to sent items).Is there a way to see a list? Also do you know if it does link with outlook? Thanks Sarah

Have you checked activities? That sounds like it as is updating last activity date

Hi Ines, That doesn’t really help/ answer the question sorry. Salesforce engage is separate from pardot really. I want the sales reps to be able to see what emails they have sent. Sarah

Hi Sarah,

It shows as “Sync emails with the CRM” setting, which should create as activities in history related list on salesforce records.

Hi Ines, thanks for your help but this still doesn't really help. I can see the history on the prospects already but what we want is a way for the sales rep to see what emails they have sent (as you would when you go into your sent items) - so a list of all the emails, without them needing to go into each individual prospect. If we can link it to outlook this would solve that but I cannot find out how to do it (we've downloaded the plugin but it doesn't do very much!) Thanks, Sarah

Hi Sarah,

My understanding that using “Sync emails with the CRM” setting will be tracked in salesforce, your sales reps can see there all comms to a lead or a contact including engage emails.

Hi Ines, Yes I can see that (as can the sales rep). What we want though is an area where you can see all emails to different prospects, rather than having to go on each individual prospect record every time. Does that make sense? Thanks for your help Sarah

I see, how about a report then within salesforce if you have all emails from client server and pardot sync within salesforce?

I see this is an old thread but I am now trying to find an answer. We have the sync engage emails checked in Pardot but I am looking to see if there is a related list that can be added to a contact record to see what emails have been sent to a contact. The email is not logged in the activity related list. Anyone find an answer for this?

Also searching for an answer on how to see Engage Sends on the Contact record. The best answer I have to see all sends is from the Engage Reports / Engage Team Reports objects.

Jessica - as long as you have Engage emails set to sync into Salesforce from Pardot, they'll show up in the activity history of the Contact and Account. This setting is accessed by going to Pardot > Admin > Connectors > Actions > Edit.

Hi Kam,

We have Sync Engage emails with the CRM selected and they don't seem to link to the Lead, Contact or Account. I assume you missed Lead from your post earlier? Most of our sales reps send to leads.

Also, Engage emails sent show in Engage Reports but not Engage Team Reports - We have the correct permission sets allocated as well.

Can you offer any further advice?

Callum- Yes, it logs to Accounts, Contacts and Leads. I wish I could help more. It has always worked for me upon clicking the sync option in Pardot (two different companies I’ve been with). Hopefully Pardot support can troubleshoot what is blocking the logging of the emails in Salesforce.
