I'm not sure the best practice for this example, so I thought I'd reach out to the community here.

We've got a tier structure to our sales commissions bases on YTD production. After a broker brings in a certain volume of gross commissions to the company, they get to keep a greater portion of the fee. EG a broker at $120k of gross commission keeps 50% versus a broker at $200k keeping 60%.

I know how to create a report to show all closed won opportunities by user and see a running total in reports/dashboards, but is there a way to have a field that shows all the value of all opportunity teams' commission value?

My thought was to incorporate the tier split and total production into the user object so management could manually view the data, but it wasn't out in the open for most users.

Is it even possible to have a formula or reference field that sums ALL closed won opportunities (by team), or am I looking for a feature that doesn't exist?
