But couldn't find the 'Type" under Tasks
Here's the example URL I've been playing around with:
/00T/e?followup=1&title=Call&retURL=%2F{!Contact.Id}&tsk2_lkid={!Contact.Id}&tsk3_lkid={!Account.Id}
&tsk5=Left+Voice+Mail&tsk6=Left+a+voicemail+for+{!Contact.Name}
&tsk5_fu=Follow+Up+On+Voice+Mail&{!Type}=Call
Don't know what to use for Type or value (number or txt, etc)

Hey Douglas,
So lets do it! First go to the Edit Page of Tasks and then as follows:
1. Right-click on the 'Type' field's Text Box and select 'Inspect Element'.
2. From the Console Window, find the Id attribute and select the value in the Id attribute.3. Now use the 'tsk5' in the URL like this tsk5= bla_bla . In your case it will be somethin else since we are looking to the Type field. I guess Type is a Custom Field so you may be having a 15-digit Alphanumeric Value.

1) How do I get it to select Lead or Contact under 'Name? Using tsk2_mlktp=Lead doesn't seem to work I would love to have it dynamic in that it would pick either contact or lead depending on where I clicked.
2) Another piece if when I Click save it throw me back to the main screen not back to the lead/contact. Where in the URL is that defined?
