Hi,

 

I am the admin of our Salesforce account. However, we are many users. We are working in department (Europe, USA & Asia). 

 

I would like all the users in Europe to have the same view (account, leads & contacts). They are not admin but simple users. 

 

I have seen that "Manage Public List view" should be able to make that but I can't find it....

    1) If User 1 in Europe creates a List view on an object, it won't be available for User 2 in Europe unless and until you give "Manage Public List views" access to the profile of User 1 & User 2.

     

    2) "Manage Public List views" access will be available in default for System Administrator, and its always good to give this access only to the Admins.

     

    3) If you need the List views created by certain main users of Europe or USA or Asia to be available in common for every user , you can make use of Permission sets.

     

    4) You can create public group by Setup -> Manage Users -> Public Groups, and assign the list view visibility to this group/groups.

    Sorry, I am a French student - my question seems to be not very clear.

     

    So, yes Karthik, you are right. When I use the tab contact for example, I have different view already already set (importer, white oak buyer, etc). All these view have been created by two difference users.

     

    However, each user can only the view they created. But it would be very useful for them all the view available on our Salesforce.

     

    I like the idea of create a Group and provide the list view access to that group. Where can I find this?

    Same view in the sense , All Users in Europe should be able to see same records and columns in List view ? If this is your query then you can put those Europe users in a Group and provide the list view access to that group.

    Just want to be clear - are you talking about the Page Layout or the List Views?  I got the impression you were talking about the Page Layouts for each object when reading your question - which is altogether different than the List Views (on the object's tab).

    I don't think you can merge two different views of different users.

    I have only the Professional Edition. Do you see another solution?

     

    Both of them have already created different view, how can I merge them at least so they can have the same one?

    Pierre,

     

    To give 'Manage Public List Views', you need to create a custom profile.  On that custom profile ensure that Manage Public List Views is checked on.  Then set the profile for that user to the custom profile you created.  To do this, you need Enterprise or Unlimited Edition.
