Where is the Content Library tab?

I just watched the Sales Cloud - Content Library Demo but I can't find the Content Library tab when I'm logged into SF, where can I find it?

Viewing and Editing Libraries

Available in: Contact Manager, Group, Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

Once you have located a Salesforce CRM Content library in the My Libraries area of the Libraries tab home page or ona content details page, click the library name to display detailedinformation. For details about the publishing options at the top ofthe page, see Uploading and Publishing Content.

From the library title area, you can click the following quicklinks:
  • Browse to view search results showing all the contentin the library.
  • Edit to change the library name or description.
  • Delete to delete an empty library. If youwant to delete a library that contains content, you must first movethe content to another library or delete it and empty the RecycleBin.
    Note
    If your Recycle Bin is empty and you are unable to deletethe library, another user's Recycle Bin may contain deleted contentfrom the same library. A library cannot be deleted until all its contentis permanently deleted or moved to another library.
  • Edit Members to add or remove library members or changetheir library permission.
  • Tagging Rules to change the taggingmethod permitted in the library.
  • Content Types to restrict thecontent types available to library contributors.
  • View Archived Content to view a list of archivedcontent in the library. If you do not have the ArchiveContent or Manage Libraries privilegein your library permission, the archived content list only containscontent that you authored and archived, not content that other authorsarchived.

The library detail page contains the following sections:

Members
This section lists all the Salesforce CRM Content users who aremembers of the library. To limit the member list, enter a usernameand click Filter. You can filter by the beginningof a username but not the last name.
To add new members to the library:
  1. Click Add Members.
  2. If you do not immediately see the member you wantto add, enter keywords in the search box and click Find.
  3. Select members from the Available Members box. Memberscan include individual Salesforce CRM Content users or publicgroups containing Salesforce CRM Content users.
    Tip
    If you have a large number of Salesforce CRM Content users, createa public group and add the group to a library rather than adding usersto the library individually.
  4. Click Add to add the membersto the library.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select a library permission for each user or public group andclick Save.
To remove a member from the library, click Remove. To change a member's library permission, click Edit and choose a new library permission from the drop-down list.
Featured Content
This section lists the five pieces of content in the library most recently designated as “featured.” If no contenthas been featured, this section does not display. Featured content receives a higher priority thansimilar content in search results; for example, if 100 files containthe search criteria term sales asset, any featuredfiles with that term will appear at the top of the search resultslist. Tosee all featured content, click Show All. Totoggle the feature status on or off, go to its content detailspage.
Top Content
This section includes lists that summarize content activity inyour library. Within a list, click a file icon to download the contentor click the title to open the associated content details page. Inthe Top Content section you can choose from the following categories:
  • Publication Date—This content issorted in descending order according to the most recent publicationdate. Choose the number of records you want to view from the accompanyingdrop-down list, or click the Show All buttonto list all the published files, Web links, and Google docs.
  • Num Downloads—This content is sortedin descending order according to the highest number of downloads.The bar graphic indicates how one record compares to another. Choosethe number of records you want to view from the accompanying drop-downlist, or click the Show All button to listall the downloaded content.
  • Rating—This content is sorted indescending order according to the highest number of thumbs-up votes.Green and red in the bar graphic represent positive and negative votes,respectively. Choose the number of records you want to view from theaccompanying drop-down list, or click the Show All button to list all the content with votes.
  • Num Comments—This content is sortedin descending order according to the highest number of viewer comments.The bar graphic indicates how one record compares to another. Choosethe number of records you want to view from the accompanying drop-downlist, or click the Show All button to listall the content with associated comments.
Popular Tags
This “tag cloud” shows you how the content in yourlibrary has been labeled. Tags are descriptive terms assigned during uploador revision that help classify and organize content. Click a tag nameto view search results containing all the files, Web links, and Google docs with thattag. The tag names increase in size within the tag cloud accordingto popularity, meaning that the largest tags have been assigned tothe most content. You can choose to sort the tags alphabetically orby popularity. The tag cloud contains the 30 most popular tags.
Recent Activity
This section is a snapshot of activity within your library. It shows the most recent files, Web links, and Google docs to receivecomments, votes, or subscriptions. Featured content and newly publishedcontent are also included, but new versions of existing content, archivedcontent, and deleted content do not appear in the Recent Activitysection. Use the Older and Newer buttons to scroll through records. The Recent Activity section containsa maximum of 100 records.
Most Active Contributors
This section shows the authors who have uploaded content intoyour library most frequently. The namesincrease in size according to activity, so the largest names are theauthors who have contributed the most content.

Clicking a file name on the Libraries, Content, or Subscriptionstabs opens the content details page, which is a central access pointto preview content and gather information about a particular file,Web link, content pack, or Google doc in Salesforce CRM Content. Starting withthe Summer '10 release, if Chatter is enabledfor your organization, files posted to Chatter are also listed.

The Preview tab displays if your fileis one of the following types:
  • Microsoft® Office 97 through Microsoft Office 2007 Word,Excel, and PowerPoint. Some MicrosoftOffice 2007 features don't display correctly in previews.
  • Adobe® PDF. Copy-protected PDFs can't be previewed.
  • JPG, BMP, GIF, and PNG
The following options are available on the content details pagedepending on the type of content you are viewing, your library permissions,and whether the content is in a public or private library, or from Chatter:
  • Click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon to vote for the file,Web link, content pack, or Google doc. To changeyour vote, click the opposite icon. After you cast a vote, the RecentActivity list on the Libraries tab indicates whether you like or dislikethe content.
  • Click Deliver Content to create a contentdelivery. Click Deliver Content | Show Content Deliveries to view a list ofdeliveries associated with the content.
  • For Web links or Google docs, click the Open button to openthe Web page in a separate window. For files, click the Download button to open or save the file.
  • Click Subscribe or Subscribed to toggle your subscriptionon or off.
  • For content packs, click Clone & Customize to create a new pack by adding or removing files and slides. Salesforce CRM Content saves or publishesyour customized pack as new content, not a version of the pack youcopied.
  • Click Edit | EditContent Details to modify standard and customfields.
  • Click Edit | EditContent Pack to create a newversion of a content pack by adding or removing files.
  • For files, click Edit | Upload New Version to replace the file with a new version. The version option is not available for Weblinks, content packs, or Google docs.
    Note
    Ifthe Add New Version button is grayed out, yourorganization has exceeded its file storage allowance and new contentcannot be uploaded.
  • Click Edit | ArchiveContent to remove the file, Web link, content pack, or Google doc from thelibrary. Authors can archive and restore their own contentregardless of library permissions.If a file is in Salesforce CRM Content and also postedin Chatter, archiving it doesn't remove the Chatter post.
  • Click Edit | DeleteContent to delete the file, Web link, content pack, or Google doc from Salesforce CRM Content by movingit to the Recycle Bin. Authors can delete and undelete their own contentregardless of library permissions. Deleting a Google doc removes thedoc's association with Salesforce CRM Content but does notdelete the doc in Google Apps.You cannot delete a file that is included in a content pack or contentdelivery. Deleting a Chatter file from the content details page deletes the file from Salesforce CRM Content and from Chatter.
  • Click Edit | LibraryActions and choose Move to AnotherLibrary to move the content to a different managing (or“home”) library. Choose Share to AnotherLibrary to share content into additional libraries withoutchanging the managing library. Sharing or linking content to otherlibraries enables members of those libraries to find your content.If the managing library and shared library have different tagging rules, the most restrictive taggingrule applies. If you want to remove content from a library where thecontent is shared, click Remove from Libraries. This option does not remove content from its managing library
  • Click the Comments subtab to view, add, edit, or delete comments.
  • Click the Versions subtab toview a list of all file versions and the reason-for-change statementsprovided by the authors.
  • Click the Downloads subtab to view a list of all Salesforce CRM Content users who havedownloaded the file. Download data is not available for Web linksor Google docs.
  • Click the Subscribers subtab to view a list of all Salesforce CRM Content users subscribedto the file, Web link, or Google doc. To subscribeto an author, click the drop-down button next to the author's name.To subscribe to a library, click the drop-down button next to thelibrary name.
  • Click a tag name to view all the content associated with thattag. Click the arrow next to the tag to remove the tag or to subscribeto all content with that tag.
  • To add a new tag, enter a tag name in the Add Tags field and click Save. As you type a tag, Salesforce CRM Content autosuggeststags based on the tags in your My Recent Tags list in the Save orPublish window and the Popular Tags section on the Libraries tab.
    Note
    If your administrator applied a library tagging rule, you may not be able to enternew tags. If the guided tagging rule is applied, you can click Add Tags and choose from the list of suggested tags orenter new tags. If the restricted library tagging rule is applied,you can click Add Tags and choose from thelist of suggested tags, but you cannot enter your own tags.
  • Click the author's name to see a list of the author's publishedcontent. Click the arrow next to the author's name and choose Subscribe to Author to subscribe to all content publishedby that author.
  • Click Feature or Don't Feature to toggle the “feature” designation on or off. Featured content receives a higher priority thansimilar content in search results; for example, if 100 files containthe search criteria term sales asset, any featuredfiles with that term will appear at the top of the search resultslist. Featured content is also listed on the library overviewand library detail pages for quick access.
  • Click a library name to view details about the library. Clickthe arrow next to the library name and choose Subscribeto Library to subscribe to all content in the libraryor Show Library Content to view a list of allfiles, content packs, Web links, and Google docs publishedto the library.
