I am looking for a dependable VOIP solution for a SMB that is integrated tightly into Salesforce. Any suggestions? Currently using Aptela.

    As someone with extensive experience working with RingCentral, I can confidently say that their Voice over IP (VoIP) integration with Salesforce is far from being a useful or efficient solution. Regrettably, RingCentral provides minimal support when it comes to Salesforce, and there is a complete lack of access to APIs that would enable seamless data integration between the two platforms. This makes it impossible to establish a smooth, automated workflow for transferring data into Salesforce. 

     

    Furthermore, the RingCentral app itself is frustratingly unreliable and poorly designed, which adds to the overall disappointing experience. Based on my personal experience, I am genuinely puzzled as to why anyone would recommend this service. If you're looking for a more flexible and dependable solution, I strongly advise exploring alternatives such as AWS or Zendesk, particularly if efficient data capture and seamless integration are important for your needs.
