Creating a user Registration/Login page using salesforce.com

I am a newbie, I need to know how i could create a user registration page, and also the users should be abel to login with the registration details they provided in the registration page.

 

All the details should be saved in a DB. And can someone please show me how this can be done using SalesForce.

    No i am not. how should i get there from the UI ?

     

    I also need to see the records stored in the Database , so how can i see the records ?

     

    What is the Database used in SalesForce ?
