I have a non-admin user who is working on Article set up and I want to grant permission for him to add / edit / delete the Article Types.  I gather that he needs the “Manage Salesforce Knowledge” permission, but I cannot find where to grant it.

    Hi Jared,

1- You need to create a permission set ( enable Manage Salesforce Knowledge, Manage Articles), assign the Permission sets to the user.

2- Create a Public group and assign Users to the Group.

3- Now in quick find box search (Knowledge Article Actions) and assign the above public group here in the Article Managers.

Note: Make sure if you have an Article Record type, Search in Quick find box (Knowledge Article Types) and if you have any record type, give permissions in the Permission set and you are good to go.

I tested it for users and it's working as expected.
