Help creating a salesforce form

Hello, I am the administrator of a salesforce enterprise account and i was asked to implement a form in our salesforce. Although the idea is not completely shaped yet, i have some questions.

The form looks as it follows:

People want to create a trip where they can input a starting date, end date, region, country they are visiting, university, the contact they are meeting and the project manager is who the person that is performing the trip.
I did the all of these fairly easy by creating a new object, setting up some lookup fields of our accounts and contacts.

The first problem is that the person is supposed to choose a university from our database (lookup field will do it) but there are 5 other fields that  will modify the characteristics of that university. For example, in our accounts we have "stamford university" and it has 5000 students. So if a trip is made, the person is supposed to choose the university they are visiting and have a field called "number of students" that will be able to change the previous amount of students in that university. How can I create a field linked to a set characteristic of an account?

Second problema i have is, they want to have several objectives for a single trip. Problem is it is not a set number of objectives, more like a dynamic number of them. Perhaps a row with a '+' at the end to add a new row. How can I do this?

Finally I want to ask if it can be done with the standard tools or I have to create a new visualforce page from scratch. Thank you

As long as you have a lookup field pointing to the account, you can make a formula field that references information from it and shows it on your custom object.  Make a new formula field and use the formula builder in the Insert Field button to help you access that information.

Second problem...

For this you should make a second custom object, perhaps called Objective, that has a master-detail to your initial custom object.

Finally I want to ask if it can be done with the standard tools or I have to create a new visualforce page from scratch.

This can all be done with standard tools, although you may be able to provide a smoother experience with a Visualforce page.  In any case start with what you get out of the box and improve from there.
