What's the price of additional data storage?

My company want to make application in the force.com platform, but the Enterprise Edition provide just 1GB data storage, that's not enough at all. Now I want's to know the price of additional data storage, but I have not got the Enterprise edition license, where can I know the information about data storage price? Is it published by the salesforce?
If you know and it is not refered to the secret of salesforce, please tell me the information.
Thanks for you help.

When your organization has reached its storage limit, you will not be able to create any new data or upload new files. To reduce your storage usage, try to delete any outdated leads or contacts and remove any unnecessary attachments. In Salesforce CRM Content, delete files to reduce your storage limit.

To increase your storage limit, you can purchase additional storage space, or in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions, you can also add user licenses.

1500 quoted for 500 mb annually. That's tough to stomach when cloud storage is micro fraction of that cost elsewhere. This has become the printer ink for salesforce...low cost, high margin...but makes customers reconsider other options.

Hi All,
Are you still Looking for large file Storage with Low Cost in salesforce..?
We got a solution for you...!
Here you may be interested in knowing about appexchange native app Cloud Drop which is having the following features:
a) File storage at a fraction of the cost b) Eliminate file size limitations c) Organize your files how YOU want d) Email files to leads, contacts, or users e) Public or Private Files f) Attach files to Salesforce objects g) Upload files to Salesforce from a web form.

Keep in mind the difference between file storage and DB (data) storage ... two vastly different beasts with different costs behind them.

Akash above is apparently a "file storage" vendor... this is not the same thing quoted above.

Brian that is a bad answer.  Look at Amazon AWS database storage pricing for Oracle DB enabled storage.  This is high-volume DB storage, not "file storage".  It is SSD, committed IOPS database storage for Oracle DB and it is $0.124 per GB PER YEAR.  The SalesForce mantra that "our storage is better" is the equivalent of "our amps go to 11".  You can put whatever number you want on there, it is no better than Amazon AWS Oracle DB SSD storage - in fact I doubt SalesForce storage is SSD.  The price differential is criminal.

Jerry He,

There are other ways to avoid the payment of added storage. For example look at this integration with eFileCabinet.

There are a lot of solutions out there that will help with your needs Jerry check out appexchange if you would like to see other options.

Don and Akash,
These soluions would be great, but they are for FILE storage, and not DATA storage.

You are correct and thank you for clearing that up for the readers and myself. I lived in the data center space for many years and we never had to differentiate the two.

Now that I have been consulting for clients that need integration with the top CRM's in the market for document storage and data storage there is a big difference.

Great talk,

Another option is to clean up the org of data that is no longer needed so that you don't have to buy more.  Storage Helper will automatically handle the cleanup for you - no coding required. Install Storage Helper free from the AppExchange: https://goo.gl/AHnLnc

Data storage for select editions is increasing from 1 GB to 10 GB, giving you lots more room to grow. For example, previously a Professional Edition org with 10 users received 1 GB, because 10 users multiplied by 20 MB per user allotment is 200 MB. Now, a Professional Edition org with 10 users receives 10 GB + 200 MB.

When: Orgs will begin to see the increase beginning in late March 2019: https://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring19/release-notes/rn_storage.htm

There's also an alternative Salesforce backup solution called Skyvia (https://skyvia.com/backup/salesforce-backup) - it provides 20 GB os storage for 9$/month, or 1 TB of storage for $200/month without differentiation between data storage and file storage.
It is cloud-based - Microsoft Azure server.
Besides, they offer a Salesforce Data Loader which helps to load data quicker than with the help of Apex

If you want to keep all your information still in Saleforce you might check into our app Storage Minder. Most clients peel off data after a year so it's still accessible - https://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N3A00000EFoZiUAL

Nothing can be better than this:

Best way to overcome this problem is install FTP Attachments Application which allows you to upload and store attachments on your personal server rather than on the salesforce server. FTP Attachments® seamlessly integrates with the salesforce UI and offers a lot of benefits over native salesforce attachments.

FTP Attachments supports
Following storage servers:
FTP Server
FTPS Server
SFTP Server
Amazon S3
