I've seen multiple threads about this issue, and it looks like browser changes, etc. have worked for some people in the past. I've tried this on Safari and Chrome as well as saving the report before exiting and re-entering, and am still having the same issue.
I cannot drag a formula field into my report builder without there being an excess column outside of the matrix. I would like to streamline the report to be only the needed values within the matrix, but the formula is red when I try to drag it in unless I add the excess column.
In the example below, Won is the excess column/field.
Does anyone know a way around this issue? I'd love to get a bodacious, SteveMo-like streamlined looking report. Thanks in advance!

That column will only be visible if you're showing details, you can select hide details to hide it. Does that help?
