Hello everyone .....  Thanks for your patience! Here is the Spring '25 Release Feature Matrix

For anyone new to this release matrix, this is a tool some of our customers have used for several years to conduct an initial review, decide how to incorporate new features into their roadmap and assign features to team members for further review and discussion. You can sort/filter by Product, Cloud, etc. but more importantly you can filter by availability to users, admins/developers and those handful of features (especially pilot programs) that require you to contact Salesforce to activate.

A few caveats to be aware of:

  • Please understand this document may contain errors and/or omissions. Always rely on the official Release Notes as your final reference. This matrix is based on the Preview Release Notes as of December 27, 2024.
  • Keep an eye on the Release Notes changelog for updates. As always, please base any purchasing decisions on currently available functionality.

Pilots and Betas for the Salesforce Spring '25 Release.

Pilots give you the opportunity to try out new features before they're released and your testing and feedback helps us share or tweak the feature set. To sign up contact your Account Executive, Customer Success Manager or log a case with Support. Pilots are usually for a limited number of customers and typically we ask you to provide the use case. Our Product Managers will review the request to see if it's a good match.

Successful pilots will often transition to the Beta phase. Beta features might require additional enabling by a System Administrator or Salesforce Support. Beta features are normally unsupported or given limited Support because they are not necessarily fully functional or finished features.

Hi all, When I tried migrating some updated App Pages from a Summer '24 sandbox to a Spring '24 Prod, I got the following error:

Invalid property [label] in component [flexipage:tabset]

After some trial and error, I discovered that we have added a Label to the Tabs component on App Pages which will not allow the page to be deployed in a Spring '24 environment.  To work around this, I moved all of the components within the tabs out of the tabs, deleted the tabs, and then deployed to Prod.  Then back in prod, I added the tabs back and the components back into the tabs.  I'm sure you could manipulate metadata to remove the label, but this was a fast and easy work around for the next few weeks.

    Same issue here with apiversion 61.

    Starting from this:

    <flexiPageRegions>

    <itemInstances>

    <componentInstance>

    <componentInstanceProperties>

    <name>label</name>

    <value>Tabs</value>

    </componentInstanceProperties>

    <componentInstanceProperties>

    <name>tabs</name>

    <value>maintabs</value>

    </componentInstanceProperties>

    <componentName>flexipage:tabset</componentName>

    <identifier>flexipage_tabset</identifier>

    </componentInstance>

    </itemInstances>

    <name>main</name>

    <type>Region</type>

    </flexiPageRegions>

    Editing the xml like this:

    <flexiPageRegions>

    <itemInstances>

    <componentInstance>

    <componentName>flexipage:tabset</componentName>

    <identifier>flexipage_tabset</identifier>

    </componentInstance>

    </itemInstances>

    <name>main</name>

    <type>Region</type>

    </flexiPageRegions>

    The error still remains :(

Hello Everyone,

We are in the process of retiring old SOAP APIs (versions older than v30) that some of our legacy systems are currently using. During this process, the teams have confirmed that certain changes on their end have been completed. However, they are still using the old WSDL (v25) on their end. When they try to use the new endpoint (Soap/u/62.0), they encounter an issue.

Upon investigating, we found that they use the 'describeSObject' method available in the WSDL to retrieve certain picklist fields from our Salesforce Org. The response structure in v25 is significantly different from that in v62, causing the existing code to fail when parsing the XML response from Salesforce in v62.

Is there a workaround that allows us to avoid re-importing the WSDL and still get the 'describeSObject' method to work as expected, providing the field details?

    @Prince Kothari i believe you have reimport WSDL with improved api version to get the method accessible.

Hello. I've added the new Dynamic Highlights Panel to a page in a sandbox. I may be missing something but how do I have the "Follow" button available for users wanting to follow that record on Chatter? It comes as standard on the legacy highlights panel (at the top) but it isn't available as a button to add on the new one (at the bottom).

Dynamic Highlights Panel - Follow Button?

Spring '25 is scheduled to go live this weekend, but haven't seen any dates/times posted for Release Readiness Live yet.     "Feb 07 | Confirmed | 11:00 pm -07 | Spring '25 Major Release"

Did I miss the announcement for RRL dates for Spring '25?   Or is RRL for Spring '25 cancelled?  replaced?  or?

thanks,

    That's called a GACK, there is not much you can do about that. Have you used the screenflow template that is needed? Your output variables have to be there with the required names.

    @Shannon Harrop (Salesforce UX Enablement)

    I checked with some other folks in my company-- it looks like the option is available on the fullsand box for our main instance, but not in the developer one I spun up.

    I checked the info for my instance according to the instructions on the SF website; it

    says

    I'm on Spring '25, but I don't see anything for SLDS2 in my options.
